Shapes Logo Mockup

Student work

The task here was to create a new corporate design for the Ray Ban children’s line. This project was the first time I had to design something for children, which was very difficult for me at first, but it is now one of my best cases. The concept was to give the children a character with the sunglasses, so that they can choose their “buddy”. These characters have their own personalities and shapes (therefore the naming) depending on the glasses, so that the children or parents can decide whether they want to choose someone similar to themselves or perhaps the complete opposite.

The packaging also serves as a case made of impact-resistant, hard cardboard. Inside you will find a small booklet and the glasses in a fabric bag. Each pair of glasses also has its own packaging design.

The characters are all inspired by the shapes of the lenses and temples. Depending on the shape, I thought about what characteristics the “shapes” have.“The cat”, for example, is an elegant, calm person, but she can also be a bit difficult…

The entire corporate stationary is color-coordinated with the various sectors. For example, yellow is for sales, red for production, blue for management, etc.

Of course, the merch should not be missing. “The Boss” and „The Special One“, which can also be seen in the primary logo, also serve individually as secondary logos, so it was only logical to use them in the branding as well. In this case, the shirt would be a shirt for employees.
